Our Story
By Reverts. For Reverts. Always.
When Aisha first became Muslim, what she missed most was social support. She found it hard to make friends who understood her — sisters she could relate to, on the same journey. So she founded For Reverts by Reverts (FRBR): a community support group to empower and uplift women who have reverted to Islam, so no sister has to feel that way alone.
What began with a small Revert Afternoon Tea in September 2023 has since grown into a thriving network, hosting regular Revert Coffee mornings, Jummah Catch Ups, online courses to large-scale community events with over 100 attendees — resulting in being awarded the 2024 Community Champion award. One of our highlights includes the "Muslimahs & Mocktails" event — an inspiring evening of empowerment, reflection, and sisterhood.
At FRBR, we welcome sisters from all backgrounds, including those curious to learn about Islam. Our inclusive approach has led to many beautiful moments where sisters have chosen to take their shahadahs with us, Alhamdulillah.
